Micro account

The Micro account is Weltrade’s entry-level option. The balance is held in US or euro cents, so a $10 deposit appears as 1,000 cents and positions are extremely small. Spreads start from 1.5 pips with no commission, and leverage goes up to 1:2000. It suits beginners who want to move from a demo to real money with minimal risk.

Cent account

The Cent account also starts at $1 and shows the balance in cents, but runs only on MetaTrader 5. According to Weltrade, Cent offers tighter spreads than Micro on the same instruments and adds access to commodities and indices. Symbols carry a .C suffix. Availability depends on your country.

Premium account

Premium is a standard dollar or euro account with a $25 minimum deposit, leverage up to 1:1000 and spreads from 1.5 pips. Its main advantage over Micro is access to share CFDs and normal (non-cent) lot sizes. It is available only in some regions.

Pro account

For most traders the Pro account is the best value: a $10 minimum deposit, spreads from 0.5 pips, no commission and leverage up to 1:2000, with access to forex, metals, commodities, stocks and indices. It works well for day trading and Expert Advisors.

SyntX account

SyntX is a dedicated account for Weltrade’s synthetic instruments (FX Vol, SFX Vol, PainX/GainX, FlipX and others) that trade 24/7. Minimum deposit is $1, spreads start from 0 pips, and there is a commission from $3 per lot. Leverage is fixed at 1:10000 and cannot be changed after opening, so strict risk management is essential. An Islamic (swap-free) SyntX version is also available.

Raw Spread account

Raw Spread is built for scalpers and algorithmic traders: floating spreads from 0.01 pips, market execution from about 0.21 seconds and a commission charged per side depending on the instrument. The recommended minimum deposit is $100 (you can open the account before funding it). It runs on MT5 and covers forex, metals, commodities, indices, stocks and crypto. Availability depends on your region.

Weltrade minimum deposit: how much do you really need?

Technically you can start with $1 on Micro, Cent or SyntX, or $10 on Pro. In practice, a slightly larger balance gives you room for proper risk management: with $1–$10, even a small market move can close your positions. Many traders start with $50–$100 on a cent or Pro account. Also note that some payment methods have their own minimum amounts that may be higher than the account minimum.

Weltrade spreads explained

  • Floating spreads on all accounts — they widen during news releases and low-liquidity hours.
  • Commission-free pricing on Micro, Cent, Premium and Pro: the broker’s fee is built into the spread.
  • Raw pricing on Raw Spread: near-zero spreads plus a separate commission.

For commissions, swaps and stop out levels see Weltrade spreads and fees. Live spreads, swaps and commissions for every instrument are listed in the trading conditions section on weltrade.com, where you can switch between account types.

Weltrade demo account

A free demo account is available in your Personal Profile. It uses virtual funds and real market quotes, so you can test MT4/MT5, SyntX instruments and your strategy before risking money. Weltrade has also historically run demo trading contests with real prizes. Step-by-step setup is in our Weltrade demo account guide.

Which account should you choose?

  • New to trading: Micro or Cent.
  • Regular forex and gold trading: Pro.
  • Want share CFDs with standard lots: Premium or Pro.
  • Scalping and EAs: Raw Spread.
  • Synthetic indices 24/7: SyntX.

You can open several account types under one profile and switch between them. An existing account’s type cannot be changed, but you can always open a new one. For an overall assessment of the broker, see our Weltrade review, and before trading with bonus funds read our bonus guide.
