Weltrade Spreads and Fees: Full Cost Breakdown by Account

Trading costs decide how much of your result you actually keep. This guide breaks down Weltrade spreads, commissions, swaps and other fees for every account type, using the conditions published by the broker.

Minimum spreads by account

Account Spread from Commission Best for
Micro 1.5 pips None Beginners, small balances
Cent 1.5 pips (tighter than Micro on the same symbols) None Beginners on MT5
Premium 1.5 pips None Standard lots, stocks
Pro 0.5 pips None Most active traders
Raw Spread 0.01 pips Per side, see below Scalping, EAs
SyntX 0 pips From $3 per lot Synthetic indices

All spreads are floating: the figures above are minimums, not averages. Spreads widen during news releases, at market open and in low-liquidity hours. Live values for each symbol are shown in the trading conditions section on weltrade.com and in MT4/MT5 (right-click a symbol → Specification).

Raw Spread commissions

On the Raw Spread account the spread is close to zero and the broker charges a commission per side (on opening and closing). Published rates at the time of writing:

Instrument group Commission per side
Forex and metals From $1.5 per lot
Commodities From $2 per lot
Indices From $2 per lot
Crypto From $0.05 per lot
Stocks 0.05% of trade value per side

Example: a round trip of 1 lot EUR/USD on Raw Spread costs about $3 in commission (2 × $1.5) plus the raw spread. On Pro, the same trade has no commission but a wider spread. If your average Pro spread on EUR/USD is above roughly 0.3–0.4 pips, Raw Spread usually becomes cheaper for frequent traders.

Swaps (overnight fees)

  • Positions held past the daily rollover are charged or credited a swap, depending on the instrument and direction.
  • Triple swap is applied Wednesday→Thursday for forex, metals and commodities, and Friday→Monday for stocks, index CFDs and crypto.
  • Swap-free (Islamic) conditions are available for some instruments and accounts, including a swap-free SyntX account.
  • Swap values can change; check the symbol specification before holding trades overnight.

Margin call and stop out

Account Margin call Stop out
Micro, Cent, Pro, Raw Spread 100% 10%
SyntX — 50%

A 10% stop out means positions start closing when your equity falls to 10% of the used margin. With very high leverage this can happen fast.

Deposit and withdrawal fees

  • Weltrade states that it charges no deposit fees and no internal withdrawal fees.
  • Payment providers may charge their own fees, and crypto withdrawals include network fees; these are shown before you confirm.
  • Currency conversion costs apply if your payment currency differs from the account currency.

How to keep trading costs low

  1. Choose Pro over Micro/Premium if you trade standard lots — the minimum spread is three times lower.
  2. Consider Raw Spread for high-frequency trading and EAs.
  3. Avoid trading major news if you are sensitive to spread widening.
  4. Check swaps before holding positions over Wednesday night.
  5. Use the Welcoins loyalty programme, which returns part of the spread you pay as points.
